ABOUT POST 112

What do Fire Explorers do?

Fire Explorers are the Firefighters of tomorrow. They train along side the men and women of the fire service, learning the skills and techniques needed for their future in the fire service. The Explorer Post meets throughout the year. Meetings are the first and third Tuesday evening of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. The 4th Saturday of every month is also scheduled to perform hands-on drills. More specialized and in-depth training is performed at these meetings to continue to build the foundation for becoming a professional firefighter.
